Future me again. On the night of March 9th I finished crocheting the Sherwood throw, which I started making on February 22nd, so it took me a little over two weeks. It really helped clear my thoughts and gave me time to relax, which is the whole point of a mindless project.
While I was making the throw I tried using a stitch counter for the first time in my life. I got this one in the little unused crochet hook set I thrifted, and it works fine (I wasn't sure if I'd remember to use it so I still kept track on paper, too.) The only problems I have with the stitch counter is that it's a little small, it rolls around, and the dials on either end are a bit hard for someone with arthritic hands to turn.
After I do a couple of smaller things my next project will be making a throw out of the Sweet Roll Cinnamon Pop yarn I thrifted, so stay tuned to hear more about that.
