Working with baby boucle yarn to make a basket did test my patience a little, but I liked the end result enough to try it again.
My second basket made from three of these yarns went a bit smoother, and turned out prettier, I think.
This is never going to be my favorite yarn. It tangles at the drop of a hat. It's difficult to pull out of the center of the skein (my preferred method) because it catches on itself and yuks up big balls not just at the beginning but continuously. It frays and breaks very, very easily. As yarns go it seems like an endless pain in the posterior, and it doesn't even look pretty when it's crocheted.
That said, I don't absolutely loathe baby boucle the way I used to, so this was a good experiment.
