I've decided I'm going to wrap up the Sherwood throw when I reach 57" in length (as the pattern directs) or I run out of three yarn colors, whichever comes first.
My next big project also needs to be decided on, so I'm thinking about yarn. For me a project always starts with the yarn, not the pattern.
Top of the pending big projects list is anything I can make with this Sweet Roll yarn in Cinnamon Pop that I thrifted. I have a lot of it, the yarn is nice to work with, and I love the colors. I'd just have to find the right pattern.
I'd like to work with the Hobbii Amigo yarn I purchased, too. I love these beachy colors and I wouldn't mind crocheting something in DK weight. Again, it's just the matter of finding a pattern I want to make.
I'm still collecting black/white/gray yarns for this nebulous garment idea I have in my head. It would be fun to make a sweater or pullover in those colors, maybe to wear next winter. I need to thrift more yarn and draft a pattern, though, so I'm not ready to start anything.
I've got plenty of time to think about what's next as I finish the Sherwood throw. I will likely do something small before I dive into anything complicated, too. Stay tuned to see what I choose. :)
