I realized I made a mistake in counting the floss from my one thrift in March when I began taking the skeins out of the plastic bags. Turns out there are more than one skein in most of them.
There were actually fifty skeins of DMC floss altogether, plus four wound on bobbins, so 54 skeins at $1.15 each is a value of $62.10. The adjusted total value for the entire thrift is $141.07, for which I paid $15.14.
I'm happy that I got such a bargain while falling off the wagon, but the real thrill was finding out that I don't have any of the colors of floss that I got from this thrift. I'm building a really nice collection of vintage DMC floss for my vintage cabinet. :)
