Competition for yarn lots -- especially large or those with lots of decent brand labels -- has been fierce at the online auction, but I found three this month that everyone else seemed to be ignoring that I might win for less than ten dollars.
This lot had reasonable shipping and despite the messiness I saw lots of potential. Did I win it for my $9.99 bid? Nope. I was outbid and after a bidding war it went to the winner for $22.99.
Because at my bid of $7.99 this lot would work out to thirty cents per skein, and there were some lovely greens I couldn't resist. Result: I won this lot for $7.99 with no challengers!
Here's another intriguing $7.99 lot that I bid on. Did I win the lot? Not this time. The winning bid was $11.00.
I'm quite happy that I was able to land one of the three lots for such a reasonable price. Stayed to the blog to check it out when it arrives.
