I think some crochet-related items should be way cheaper than $10.00, and during my quest I found two that I'd consider bargains: a lined journal that can be used for crochet pattern notes, thoughts and other project ideas, and a cute set of stitch markers that surprised me in a good way.
This Lined Spiral Journal comes in four other designs, and is an A5 size at 5.75” x 8.38” and has 100 pages (don't think you're getting the notebook in the product view pictures, as that's been exaggerated in size.) I paid $7.99 for it, which isn't bad for a nice journal.
The front and back covers have metal corner reinforcements, which is nice if you're like me and tend to bang around your journals. The pages have narrow college ruling, as well as date, day of the week, memo number and even weather icon headers on every page.
In the back you have an envelope for ephemera, an elastic band page marker, and a little pen holder band, too. This along with a nice pen would make an excellent gift for a crocheter.
I ordered these Cat Stitch Markers for $4.99 because they could solve a problem I've been having -- opening and closing stitch markers is becoming harder for me with my arthritis. These are threaded, so no latch. When I took them out of the package I was surprised to find they're made of metal. I snap a lot of the cheap plastic stitch markers so metal ones should be a lot better for me.
You can also get a set of 24 of the same style markers for $9.99, but a dozen were fine for me.
Threading verasus latching markers really are a great improvement. Plus the markers are cute, and I'm always on board for cute these days. :)
